Cyberjaya  [Fri. 10th February, 2006]
Ingress Auto Sdn Bhd and BMW Malaysia Sdn Bhd announced the former as the newest authorised dealer for BMW cars in Malaysia.

Tuan Haji Rameli bin Musa, Executive Chairman of Ingress Auto said, "Ingress Auto is pleased to join the BMW dealership family and is determined to be a significant contributor to the fastest growing brand in the premium segment of the Malaysian car industry."

He added that with the appointment, Ingress Auto will set the same high premium standards of personalised care and excellent after-sales service for its customers, which has made them a respected auto parts manufacturer in the industry.

"We are working to ensure that our dealership will have the best and brightest people to meet the exacting standards of service that discerning customers expect," added Hj Rameli.

"Ingress Autos move to become a dealer of the BMW marque is also part of our downstream strategy to connect with end customers, having established an excellent track record in automotive parts manufacturing," Hj Rameli said.

Ingress Auto is expected to open its new BMW 4S (Sales, Service, Systems and Spare parts) centre in the first quarter of 2007. With a total built up of 9,783 square metres, the state-of-the-art facility will be located along the prime thoroughfare of Jalan Damansara, fronting the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) and facing Mutiara Damansara.

The concept and architecture of the facility reflects the essence of the BMW brand and complies with its stringent international-class standards and specifications. The new dealership will house the sales office, new car showroom, used car showroom, lifestyle and accessories display area, meeting and discussion rooms, service reception area, parts sales reception, childrens play area, caf, and service workshop with 15 bays.

"We are very pleased to have the commitment of a strong industry player like Ingress, who are willing to form exclusive partnerships. We are confident that their competence will further strengthen BMWs presence in this market. With a superb track record in the automotive business, Ingress Auto has the right experience, professional management and qualities to grow with us," said Wolfgang Schlimme, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia.

The expansion of BMWs dealership network is set to give BMW customers more choice and convenience as well as cater to BMWs growing customer base.

"We began improvements on our dealership network early last year as dealerships form the critical touch-point for the brand to the consumers and we want to ensure that our customers continue to get nothing but the very best," explained Schlimme.

The company’s network upgrade and expansion initiatives commenced with the unveiling of Seong Hoe Premium Motors’ 4S facility in Melaka in May 2005. In August 2005, it announced the appointment of Sapura Group as its first new dealer since BMW Malaysia began operations in 2003.
